I have a severe loss of hearing in one ear and nominal in the other. I have been tested at least 4-5 times over the years and have never had more thorough testing done than this. Add in the lengthy discussions on where I am currently, what my goals are and what options I could consider to improve things and you have a picture of a very competent and dedicated service for people like me/us in the area. I walked into Oro Valley Audiology with one of my a hearing aids with a broken ear wire and in need of a hearing test. It had been several years since I had a test as my previous audiologist at another facility had left the area. I was very pleased with the meeting I had with the audiologist and the very thorough hearing test I received as well as the explanation of the results with a plan for the future. I was also very happy to leave with both of my hearing aids working thanks to the audiologist being able to replace the broken ear wire! There is no question that I will be back for my annual hearing test and to update my hearing aids with Oro Valley Audiology when it is necessary to do so.
The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, respectful. The variety of hearing aids was impressive. The doctor explained in detail what my hearing problem were and areas that need to be improved. The sales approach was without pressure.
My appointment was for a hearing test which was carried out very efficiently by a graduate student under the direction of an audiologist. No adjustments were needed on my hearing aids but the audiologist cleaned the aids and replaced the domes.
Front office staff friendly and helpful with appointment. Dr Julie was excellent clinician and very informative when interrupting hearing exam results! Highly recommend Oro Valley Audiology!!!!!
