About Sugar Land
Sugar Land (sometimes spelled as just Sugarland) is the largest city in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States, located in the southwestern part of the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Located about 19 miles (31 km) southwest of downtown Houston, Sugar Land is a populous suburban municipality centered around the junction of Texas State Highway 6 and Interstate 69/U.S. Route 59. Beginning in the 19th century, the present-day Sugar Land area was home to a large sugar plantation situated in the fertile floodplain of the Brazos River. Following the consolidation of local plantations into Imperial Sugar Company in 1908, Sugar Land grew steadily as a company town and incorporated as a city in 1959. Since then, Sugar Land has grown rapidly alongside other edge cities around Houston, with large-scale development of master-planned communities contributing to population swells since the 1980s.

Overall, a really great experience. Very professional, informative, caring staff. The receptionist/office manager was pleasant and helpful and seemed a whiz at checking insurance benefits. I saw Dr. Davis for my hearing exam and consultation and besides being very professional and kind, she explained every part of the testing, made me feel very comfortable, and answered all my questions. Dr. Davis made the process of being fitted with hearing aids easy and non-stressful. She explained my hearing test in detail, showed me several options and once my decision was made, filed immediately with my insurance company. Today, I was actually fitted with the aids and they were adjusted accordingly for my hearing issues. I had all my questions answered and will go back in 2 weeks to make sure all is going well.
